Awesome, thanks! Got thf to 21, war to 16, Bastok to 2-3 camped Lizzy and got boots all on my first night! Feels good actually getting stuff accomplished instead of logging out having gotten like... half a level. I think trusts and fast travel make the game enjoyable for me again.

Oh, and when I had been camping Lizzy for a couple hours while leveling with my trusts, some level 10 CW rdm showed up (at least I think they were CW. They had a different colored name). I did the polite thing and explained how long I had been there, and asked if they wouldn't mind coming back another time (people have been good about this, from my past private server experience). Sure enough, Lizzy pops and they claim. I ended up catching them trying to drag her way the hell away so I wouldn't see it lol. They end up eating shit because they're level 10 with no trusts trying to kill Lizzy. I toss them a /laugh as they die (petty of me, but I probably wouldn't have done it if they hadn't tried to hide from me). Kill her, then kill her another time 5 minutes later with no luck. She pops a third time about 15 minutes later, so I call in someone from the default LS who offered up their th4, and sure enough, got my boots! Anyway, that's my drama contribution for tonight! Just like the good old days!

Yeah, I've always proposed that balancing accessibility with the game. As well as not eating up time just trying to get back to the same spot for the millionth time. Is the better option that fits into life for the average person more. The boots are useful for as long as they always were. There are 2 PHs for LL as per retail so they can pop again after death.

The different name and icon is for a crystal warrior, yeah.

Q3 Adventurer Milestone Objective is now LIVE!

New Content to CatsEyeXI
The battlefields "Ouryu Cometh" and "The Wyrmking Descends" are now available!

These include new rebalanced endgame rewards, materials and new mechanics exclusive to CatsEye! This content will be used for the next "Adventurer Milestone Challenge".

Adept Reforging is a new armor augment system for Quality of Life and Crystal Warriors.
Participants must undertake a series of trials related to their chosen job, including kill quests and challenging level capped solo encounters!

Powerful JSE augments are given as a reward through a weekly progression system.
Adept Reforging will also increase the demand for crafted items and lesser used materials, as they are consumed in the process.
This system is being rolled out with three initial sets for Dragoon, Warrior and White Mage. See the bg-wiki page for more details.

Ephemeral Box is new storage solution for Crystal Warriors, available at every location with an Ephemeral Moogle. The box stores common crafting materials, which can be traded simultaneously, just like Ephemeral Moogles. The items can be retrieved again at any box location.
To unlock the Ephemeral Box, Crystal Warriors must be level 40 and complete a quest, starting at Rusty Hammer (E-3) in Northern San d'Oria.

Crystal Warriors can now explore six new low level quests rewarding augmented equipment:

Say Peas (Lv5) - Perara (E-9) Windurst Waters

Get Cracking (Lv10) - Perara (E-9) Windurst Waters

On Guard (Lv5) - Somnelius (H-5) West Ronfaure

On Watch (Lv10) - Somnelius (H-5) West Ronfaure

The Crystal Warrior quest "Decrypting Antiquity" has been completely reworked to provide different scrolls (The rate of rare scrolls has also been increased)

Unbreakable Crystal Warriors will now have the option to recover one of their top five highest-level jobs when downgrading to a Standard Crystal Warrior, by completing the one-time quest, "Shattering Stone".
This new addition offers discouraged adventurers the opportunity to carry on their journey as Standard Crystal Warriors, while still preserving the prestigious status of being Unbreakable for those who opt to stay in that form.

Guild Helper

All augment values from the Guild Helper system have been revised and most have been increased

The rate of higher tier augments from the Guild Helper system has been increased:
T1 80% -> 65%
T2 15% -> 25%
T3 5% -> 10%

The newest content release to CatsEye is coming. We are proud to announce that we have overhauled Domain Invasion for a much more exciting rotation of battles against the Naakuals.

New rewards will be added to them as well as to Nolan in Norg. We will update the page on BG after the release.

• Crystal Warriors being able to call out 5 trusts instead of the limit of 2 (only in DI).

Helper Rewards
When players help with missions and progression quests, they receive EXP scrolls. These are also tallied on the leaderboard. Crystal Warriors can now claim additional rewards upon reaching "Helper Milestones". (Loxley)

■ Players may no longer use EXP scrolls inside battlefields

Goblin's Gambit
A new currency "Goblin Grandeur" (GG) is earned from completing Goblin's Gambit. Crystal Warriors can now purchase each scroll, attachment or cipher from Gambilox with GGs once they've completed enough runs. (Loxley)

Additionally, new services are available for GG:

■ Select any weapon (Random augments) - 50 GG
■ Upgrade the attribute augment (eg. STR) on an existing weapon - 30 GG per +1 (up to 5)
■ Upgrade the stat augment (eg. attack) on an existing weapon - 50 GG per +1 (up to 5)



Yagudo Arena
Players now accumulate an arena point for each win. Arena points can be spent at the Victory Spoils next to the Yagudo Outlaw. (Loxley)

■ Entry now costs Silver Beastcoin x12 (Was x24)
■ Cooldown is now 3 days (71 hours) (Was weekly)
■ Specific pieces can be purchased for 5 wins (Roll is still random)
■ High-quality versions of each armor piece can be traded alongside an augmented piece, transferring the augments to the high-quality piece



Jobs
■ Summoners can now teleport to Cloisters after completing Mini-fork trials, without the use of a Mini-fork. To initiate the teleport, Summoners must trade a nominal 100 gil to the respective NPC. (Loxley)

I went through the whole Create a Character setup on the Cat's Eye webpage. Every time I plug my newly created account's credentials into Ashita 3 I get an error message that my username and password are incorrect, although Ashita says that it's connected to the server before it rejects my credentials. Am I missiing something? I double checked that I put in my details correctly but every time Ashita connects and then immeditately returns an incorrect username/password message.

Hi there, I think i know what your issue is.

Ashita 3 comes with a bootloader that is incompatible with the current version of the private server software, LandSandBoat. In order to be able to connect to our server, you'll need the updated bootloader.
I, sadly cannot attach executable files here, but if you join our discord: discord.gg/catseyexi i can provide it to you.

Additionally, have you considered using our launcher? it pre-installs everything you need to get going with ease, and it won't interfere with any other servers you play on.

Novice Trials
Novice Trials are a new progression system similar to Adept Trials, aimed at lower and mid level content. Each trial allows players to upgrading an existing piece of equipment upon completing a number of objectives. A tracker is displayed each time the remaining total is updated. (Spicy/Loxley)

Additionally, this new system has a number of improvements:

■ A list of requirements is given before accepting the trial
■ Players may cancel their current trial at any time
■ Augments on crafted pieces can be transferred to equivalent HQ pieces
■ Items will be required to spawn some NMs
