Also honestly, fuck the politicians in Oakland/Alameda county, cause Oakland losing every single one of it's teams in just a few years is also very much their fault. Dubs is whatever, they just moved to the other side of the bay. But Raiders/A's is very much on the city/county, especially the A's since the publicly available information on the Howard Terminal park seemed like a good deal for the city.

I personally thought Howard terminal was a horrible idea for a ton of reasons, the biggest being no real public transit going there.

I personally blame Fisher more. The Raiders are whatever, they fucked Oakland and the county hard when they returned, so no shock that they didn't want to bend over for them.

For the A's, I still stand by the best option would be to play elsewhere while the coliseum was demolished and rebuilt.

The deal didn't have the city paying for any part of the stadium. They were being asked to pony up money to improve the horrendous infrastructure in the surrounding area, which Oakland should be doing anyways if it wasn't run by idiots.

The location wasn't great, but it was basically the only thing available if they weren't going to tear down the black hole and start over

The argument is probably gonna be that Germán was given a warning and complied. Max was given a warning and still came back out with excessive stickiness.

Regardless shit is stupid. It’s purely subjective by the umps because there’s no way to reliably quantify how much rosin is too much.

Rosin Rules

1.⁠You can't just be up there and just havin' rosin like that.

1a. Too much rosin is when you

1b. Okay well listen. Too much rosin is when you have rosin

1c. Let me start over

1c-a. The pitcher is not allowed to use rosin, uh, batter, that prohibits the batter from doing, you know, just trying to hit the ball. You can't do that.

1c-b. Once the pitcher is on the mound, he can't be over here and say to his hands, like, "I'm gonna rub ya! I'm gonna rub you with rosin! You better watch me rub!" and then just be like he didn't even use too much rosin.

1c-b(1). Like, if you're about to use rosin and then use rosin, you have to avoid too much rosin. You cannot not use the right amount of rosin. Does that make any sense?

1c-b(2). You gotta be, rubbing your hand with the right amount of rosin, and then, until you just throw it.

1c-b(2)-a. Okay, well, you can have the rosin here, like this, but then there's too much rosin you gotta think about.

1c-b(2)-b. James Rosin hasn't been in any movies in forever. I hope he's doing OK since his uncredited role in Men in Black.

But he literally didn't comply. The ump told him twice to wash his hands and he still kept coming out of the dugout with sticky shit on his hands. Scherzer gave up his glove when asked and got a new one, then washed his hands when asked.

There’s also the issue of Max supposedly mixing rosin with the rubbing alcohol or whatever he used to wipe his hands, which apparently makes your hands even stickier.
