    So this is the rule.

    5.06(b)(3) Each runner, other than the batter, may without liability to be put out, advance one base when:
    (C) A fielder, after catching a fly ball, steps or falls into any out-of-play area;
    I always just assumed it was a dead ball instantaneously when resulting in an out and leaving the field of play. Like the dug out catches type shit you mostly see when this happens.

    So yeah, I guess giving Muncy second base there was the correct call.
