Nick Khan and HHH told talent during the evening meeting of all staff that nothing would be changing, and minutes later Triple H did an on-screen promo saying much of the same.
McMahon came along right before the show started, after the WWE led meeting saying nothing would change, and then he went and changed quite a bit. He was also in Gorilla all night after WWE told many sources HHH would be there

It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out that scrapping that segment in-progress was just Vince making sure everyone backstage knew that he was back in charge. Especially after H and Nick told people everything was fine and that nothing would change. Literally just a power move.

Talk about a sensational headline with no further details because of how misleading it is.
Ademi LLP announced that they are investigating whether WWE obtained fair price in its transaction with Endeavor. Yes, the board of directors include Vince, however that is a very far cry from the above post considering "Vince is under investigation" will get people to immediately think "who did he fuck and pay to keep quiet this time".
