I think he pretty clearly hit it with his stick so I dunno, maybe the etchi-sketch the refs have to look at wasn't high-def enough.

No angle to conclusively prove it is also funny because it's clearly rocketing into the rafters up until it gets near the stick blade where it magically stops faster than Elon's rocket exploded.

IMHO, same thing every game: Oilers come out smoking hot, make the Kings look like an AHL team that doesn't deserve to be on the ice with them. But the Kings weather the storm and slowly grind down the Oilers, clogging up the middle to take away their speed, and by the end of the game the Oilers are really sucking air, particularly McDrai, thus creating opportunities for the Kings to finish them late.

And in two games they have done exactly that.

Also, the Kings are playing more disciplined, while the Oilers are very consistently good for at least one brainfart every period.
