What I've gathered is that "intent to blow the whistle" can be ignored if the puck is going in on its own after the whistle is blown. Last night the first reviewed goal for Tampa counted because Sammy knocked it toward the net on his own and even after the whistle was blown it was sliding in without interference from anyone.

Where it does matter is the second reviewed goal. It was basically covered, ref couldn't see it and blew the whistle, then Point got two whacks at it and it went in. In that case it wasn't going in on its own.
