I wouldnt put him back in until the team loses.
I'm kinda on the fence. On one hand, I don't necessarily trust him not to instantly do it again. On the other hand, they've won three in a row but the last two haven't exactly been textbook wins. He's a good player, and certainly better offensively than a couple other wingers in the lineup right now (Lafferty, Jarncrok). I think I lean towards taking out one of Lafferty or Jarncrok to get him in on one of the bottom two lines. I don't love the idea of waiting until they lose a game to get him in, because if they lose game 5 and put him in game 6 (on the road, where Tampa can line him up with whoever they want), and he blows that game for you with another dumb penalty, now you're in a game 7.
If he can keep his composure I think he's definitely an asset, both because he's good and because Tampa will want to kill him (leading to powerplays, one would hope).
Leafs with Bunting: 0-1
Leafs without Bunting : 3-0
I'm not putting him in the lineup for game 5 against Tampa, and if they win tomorrow, I'm not putting him in for game 1 against Boston. I'm the type of coach who doesnt change a winning lineup.
It's a bold strategy, cotton. Let's see if it pays off for 'em.
Probably not setting him up for success by throwing him in cold in the middle of a very tense series anyway.
Let's go Rangies baby love the Rangies
Sorry, but needing the Devils to win this round, and next as well.
