I guess the TV didn't catch much of the booing if any. LA Times reporter Helene Elliott in her article:

NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman was booed, as always, when he presented the Cup to team captain Mark Stone, but he turned the jeers to cheers when he praised the team and the fans. “Not only is Vegas a hockey town, it’s a championship town,” he said.

I went through snap stories near the arena, I couldnt find any with booing, nor can I find any fan videos online. I did see one snap story labeled "The Stewart's Cup!!!" though.

Color me surprised no one is interested in watching two teams with wildly different cap situations have a one sided finals match.

Panthers are over here on life support trying to use tape to keep their limbs attached while Vegas is fighting over which one of their half dozen goalies gets to hold the cup next.

Even if it were Canes v Stars or any of the other iterations, we all equally hated the rest of the teams in the conference finals. Dallas really lost the bandwagon fans when Benn decided to drop a crosscheck on Stone despite some of us cheering on Jumbo Joe Pavelski to possibly earn a cup (and deny Vegas.) Also fuck Vegas.

And both ECF teams are "A Bunch of Jerks," one already labeled as such (Canes) and one that played borderline dirty (oh look at the Panthers' PIMs in the SCF, I guess they were)

Also I think Benn did a classy cross check, he went for Stone's face instead of targeting his very injured back.
