The Chrono Odessey Devs are at GDC this year, and had a press confrence during the Unreal Event today.


- The game will be published by Kakao Games here in the west.

- The game will be B2P, with a cash shop.

- The game will release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

- Chrono Odyssey will let you manipulate time and space, Going from past, to present, and the future to save the world.

- There will be six combat classes and 18 weapons.

- All classes having the opportunity to manipulate space and time, and the Devs emphasized that you should be able to find the combination that suits you. The space and time manipulation is integral to the experience and you can use it to gain particular advantages during battles.

- The Devs mentioned data layers, which are used to create these real-time environments on top of one another, so that you can travel to the different states of the landscape in an MMORPG environment. The use of these data layers and a world partition lets them create a huge open world open world that allows for a dynamic landscape with multiplayer action in real time.

Thanks for the bump. I have/had successfully pushed this game from my brain because I had discovered it years ago and waiting for stuff like this is mind numbing at best. Clicked the button to see if I get in, its been long enough now since I played an action MMORPG that this might really be fun.

It's crazy jank, and crashed my PC (not the game, my entire PC) twice in a half hour.

I was also not aware that it was a gooner game when I signed up for the playtest, but 3 seconds in the character creator cleared that right up lol. Thong shoved so far up the crack girl can use it as floss.
