it's a roster trick since they started to allow practice squaders to be called up multiple times.

teams cut their punters and long snappers, slap 'em on the practice squad, and then call them up for the first few weeks so they can squeeze more real foosball players on the roster without having to worry about waivers. nobody is snatching up punters and long snappers

We traded garbage for garbage. You get a 3rd string corner you hope to never need. We get a middling ST player they hope to never need at corner. Oh, and Miami saved 1mil in cap space.

My guess is they try to sign Jason Peters and keep cash on hand for cuts and/or if Indy caves on their demands.

Must be nice to have had 20 years of success because you lucked out in a late round and drafted the greatest player to ever play a sport in the US, which allowed you to cover up 2 decades of horrible personnel management and drafting.

The AFC East was at least trying during the majority of the Brady years, meanwhile the Colts entire division was a gigantic garbage fire during most of Peyton's time.

Well I think his dominance is partially to blame for that. All the other AFCE teams cycled quarterbacks constantly to try to find someone who could compete. Coaches have very short leashes. The only team that had moderate success in that division outside of the Patriots was the Jets during the Rex Ryan era. And they didn't have a quarterback either they just had a dominant defense. His dominance breeded impatience which did not translate to success. I think that team would have walked over just about every division in football during his 20 years except maybe the AFC North. The AFC South would have been competitive as well but only against one other team.

i just wanted you to know that i appreciated this
