I'll take it, especially if this franchise is what I think it's going to be, following Japan through the decades in an alternate history where Godzilla re-emerges through the eras and how that changes Japan's development.

Got a chance to see this today thanks to the re-release. I accidentally bought tickers to the minus color version because I had no idea there was a difference.

The black and white was jarring at first but I adapted after 10 minutes or so.

Ive only seen clips of old godzilla movies through the years and really know nothing of godzilla canon. I'm glad it wasn't a requirement.

This movie was amazing. 10/10 no notes.

And the bonus footage was cool. Q and A with the directors where they talk about how they made the film with a skeleton crew of 35ish core people
