Grats Rangers.
Another team leaving the no world series trophy club.
Believe that leaves Seattle, Tampa, Milwaukee, San Diego, and Colorado as the remaining teams with no ring.

Happy for Jordan Montgomery. Dude is a stud lefty pitcher. Yankees should trade for him.
Also, every Texas team in the four major sports have won a championship since the last time the Cowboys won the Superbowl

Really wish it was easier to listen to the teams regular radio commentary for playoffs. Due to their involvement, you just get that much more emotion from the voices when they finally win.

The Texas Rangers 5-0 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks for their first championship on Wednesday night drew the largest audience of this World Series. However, it was not enough to prevent the five-game series from being the least-watched Fall Classic in recorded TV history.
Nielsen and Fox said Thursday the World Series averaged 9.11 million viewers, less than the 9.79 million average from the 2020 series, when the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays in six games.
Well, because it had 2 teams with I'd assume relatively small fanbases compared to many other baseball teams. No big market team on either side, etc. The Phillies had one job, and if they were there instead it would have had bigger ratings.
Baseball has also always by comparison had lower ratings then NBA or NFL. That said, ratings now are bullshit as it only accounts for TV viewership and not necessarily in app or streaming, or piracy for that matter.
i watched one game

The networks all have their own metrics for tracking total viewership that I'm sure advertisers are also privy to, but that stuff not being publicly known has been one of the big talking points with the recent writer/actor strikes.
Mets are hiring Yankee bench coach Carlos Mendoza as their new manager instead of Counsell who is still rumored to be leaving Milwaukee.
Edit: ESPN reporting Counsell to Cubs now
I was about to post about Ross. I didn't expect this.
