Very very tough loss. Van Ginkle is capable, but Phillips was ramping up to being an all-pro level pass rusher. In my preseason predictions, I had him as DPOY. You can't replace that talent.

I think it's a stretch to say they won't be any good. They still have an all-pro corner, all-pro safety, Wilkens, Chubb, Sieler. Even Xavien Howard has decided to show up since Ramsey has taken off some pressure. They have top 10 talent if they can keep it together.

So, so many of the games this year have been miserable tv products. I’ve turned more off early, even some 3 point games like that Vikings game the other day, this season than the last 10 combined.

I had seen a stat somewhere that this season has the lowest RZ TD rate either ever or in decades, but (at that time) the dolphins had the highest RZ TD rate either ever or in decades. Doubt the dolphins stat still holds up, as the offense has been, compared to the first 8 weeks, quite pedestrian due to significant turnover problems.
