Yes, but did you miss the part about how less than 50% of his yards are from YAC, compared to 52-54% from the previous 3 MVP's? YAC is YAC.

Also Purdy averages over 9 yards in the air per pass. It's not like all his passes are dinks and dunks.

tyreek hill leads the league in yac this year by like 200 yards than the next guy (jmarr chase who also goes deep). he gets that yac by getting the ball behind defenders

that isn't what deebo and cmc do. they get the ball near the line of scrimmage and have accounted for over 1000 yards (1/3rd) of purdys yards this year, and that isn't hyperbole.

More I look at advanced stats, more I'm convinced that way too many people fell in love with Justin Herbert's arm too early. Until a coach gets something more out of him, and I think he'd feast in McVay's offense, he's probably the 4th best in that class.

People just want to insist Brock just dinks and dunks 1 yard passes. Only reason his yards totals aren't higher is we have Black CMC and White Deebo piling up rushing yards so we don't even have to be pass happy. Add in how many games were essentially over by the 4th quarter and just running rushing plays to chew clock. By the end of the season, barring something unforseen, Brock is still going to finish with 4k yards and about 35+ touchdowns.
