yeah I feel like I'd expect a 25 minute timer and 2 faint limit, and possibly a 2nd monster to approach that level of rewards

Meanwhile, Capcom has directly stated that flayer is not bugged.

But kinda like with the corrupted mantle, it apparently only works on specific attacks which likely caused the confusion. Among the attacks it doesn't work on is every single axe mode attack for CB, so uh yeah definitely don't use flayer there.

finally got the parts needed to make my artian weapon, took one look at it and decided it was trash

however, didn’t know you can apparently upgrade them with ores…gonna have to look at it again when i get home

anyway, the fishing quests were aggravating but done

big shout out to the time i had one spawn in the oasis, got all excited, it didn’t bite my lure for like 5 minutes and then a fat fucking frog came to splash around in the water and it ran away

...and then I learned you couldn't use the net to finish the fishing quest and had to get another one.

Do Paralyzer 3 decos exist? I have melded so many, have like 5 attack 3s but not a single Paralyzer 3, nor any combos gems with it.

I don't think specific gems are any rarer in this game, but there's probably like 200 different level 3 weapon gems so your chance of getting a specific one is very low

Paralyzer Lvl 3 is not a combo gem so good fucking luck

I know I have one; it's L2 gems that I can't get. I suppose I'd have to fight 5-6* fights for them instead. Have seen zero weakness exploit or maximum might gems. Part breaker works well in the mean time, with Max Might 2 from armor. I suppose I could make the weakness exploit charm and swap out free meal for Divine blessing.

The game definitely just floods you with jewels as you keep playing. Also once you reach HR 100 you can craft I think every 1 and 2 slot.

The only one I really want that I'm missing for builds is the Master's Touch one, but Razor Sharp 3/Handicraft 1 fills the role out well enough.

What is your source for telling if there is a combo gem available? I have Paralyzer 3 but damn if I didn't think it was temporary until I found one with a good second stat.

Why? Roars are only a DPS loss now. In the older games the monsters recovered before you and could attack you before you regain control. Now it's just a little mini game to see if you can roll through or block the roar to get free hits.
