gear is real cool, gonna be hunting him a lot.
The weapons might be pretty decent depending on the proc rate of its effect.
Really only like the chest piece for actual gearing purposes, but the set will be dope for layered armor.
Edit : testing so you don't have to, it's a 50 damage proc regardless of weapon type, and true to form doesn't proc for shells on gunlance.
Looks like a timed proc, every like 6 or so seconds? I'm testing on the rank 7 version, dunno if that'll change with the rank 8 one
Yeah, this Zoh Shia was my first failed quest in the game, lol
Also, already had 2 crashed playing today ;(
Edit: Make that 3...

The fuck can japan never put together a good match making system. Shit hasn't changed since Granblue Fantasy.
After the initial HR fight making the only way to farm Zoh Shia via getting a random investigation is dumb, because fucking everyone is just spamming the SOS so you can never get the quest
Max Might got a stealth buff in the update.
There was a 2 second grace period when your stamina drops before the buff falls off that would take a couple seconds to reset after your stamina dropped. The reset period is gone so the 2 second timer resets the moment you hit full stamina again. By default you get back to max stamina after a roll in 114 frames (assuming 60 fps).
So time to drop Fulgur Anjathan in the sets that use it methinks
I'll try it but I don't think that buff changes anything for bonks
Ya, I dropped fulgore for Head/Hands G Ebony for the Burst 4 bonus and dropped part breakers I had equipped.
Also, I don't know if it's always timed this way, but I finally caught at least some of the performance in the G. Hub and the NPC finished the performance just as the sunlight beamed through like it does at daybreak, and she vanished. Pretty awesome to see that as I've seen her standing around before but haven't figured out exactly when she does her song/dance for the buff it gives.
I only read that it's during the night
Zoh Shia head/chest actually makes for some pretty decent set building in anything using Agitator. Lose a tiny fraction of damage in most instances to get Super Recovery added on.
Zoh/Zoh/G Ark/Gore/Gore/WEX charm can get WEX 5/Agitator 4/Max Might 3/Burst 1/Antivirus 3, and still leaves a bunch of one slots for something comfy like Divine Protection
As HBG main, I just don't get hit for chip damage much; it's usually a big hit due to a re-load miss-time or the attack hit box wrapping around me instead of being blocked, but for solo play, I'd use it over G Ebony hands/head. Oh, also, an extra piercing shot + Wyvern Ammo on Mizitsune and a bit more damage for 5% affinity loss is a decent pierce upgrade weapon. The Zoh weapon could be a good spread upgrade too, if you solo a lot.
anyway we all agree tempered mizutsune is harder than zoh shia right? good glad you agree
I only fought it once so far but it wasn't that bad. Hits hard as fuck but Mizu has fairly predictable attack patterns once you know the animations.
i feel like zoh shia is much easier to read because of how slow he is, his hp dragging the fight longer is what makes it “hard”. mizu too fast with that tail slam
I've found that pre-buffing mega armorskin is enough to stop the mizu one shots from the slam, so I'd lean Zoh Shia. Can wombo you pretty good if you're out of position... which happens just from attrition more than it should.
HBG, during ZS's second room aoe attack, I had a tough time since I was sheathing weapon to sling, which if I was a hair late, it was a cart. Looks like you can shoot your slinger, unsheathed, using L3 when aiming with L2. Have to get in the habit of doing that instead.
I'm still not sure why that doesn't work sometimes. I've been frustrated trying to flash pod (or other time sensitive shots) with focus mode so often that I just sheath for all the slingers now.
The game definitely just kind of eats inputs sometimes. I see it every RE engine game from time to time
