A Rank for the Mizutsune pendant felt super easy compared to Doshaguma. Got it in single digits attempts and cleared by a good 30 seconds. Bummer, I thought they'd tighten it up after moving away from the leaderboard not the other way around.

AT Duna needs like 4 minutes shaved off its A rank as well. Got 13:30 on the first attempt where I carted, didn't even sleep at the Dam, and got unlucky pathing where it went back to the top instead of past the river rubble. Way too much leeway, should at least need sub-10.

Not surprising, but 9 star quests are no joke.

Rey Dau was easier than the AT version, but felt like it had more HP. Jin Dahaad took fucking forever. Saved an investigation for 9 star Gore but I ain't got the appetite for that shit right now.

Amulets were all crap, but the randomized ones from the new quests can roll with weapon or armor skills/slots, so could open up some fun new options.

I've done Rey, Ark and Steve so far. Rey was a pushover, the others were challenging, but not too crazy. Amulets all meh so far, and the rare 8 ones seem really rare.

They mostly just seem to have more HP, definitely a step down from the AT versions.

I'm sure Gore Magala will be awful though, even with AT Rey/Duna I felt like 8 star Gore was already the hardest fight in the game.

For sure. Steve is pretty tough too. Lagi is too easy to counter with a little bit of thunder resist to really compare with Gore and Steve. 9* Ark is definitely not the pushover that he was as an 8*, but mechanically he's still the same fight, so everyone should know what to expect after killing him 200 times lol. I did it in a group in about 10 minutes, so his HP isn't that bad either.

Edit: I think the apexes are going to be the "easy" 9* fights, while the TU monsters are in general going to provide a bit more challenge.

Baby Ultima kinsect is sick, but I don't think even that'll get me to go back to IG with the current way it's played. SnS looks great too, but there are already so many amazing looking SnS designs to choose from already. Hopefully the stats are good enough to actually compete with Artian.

With the buffs to support hunters in this patch I think I'm just gonna do this one solo lol, do not trust randos to figure this shit out

Edit : ok yeah that would be impossible with random players. I'm sure the hard mode one will be fucking awful like Behemoth was
