Yeah, as of yet, some of their stands remain somewhat obscure; also worried about some of their rule enforcement since some of the excerpts shown imply that they may be pandering to some of the most-easily offended, which, frankly, is just as bad as the other extreme, although at this point, I doubt it's possible to reasonably enforce some kind of middle ground on the "big" SNS, not to mention that said middle ground will be heavily subjective anyway.

That being said, the example linked in that Tweet seems to be about eight months old and, as far as I am aware based on anecdotes provided by friends etc. and the stuff floating about already, this may be something isolated or something that's not exactly enforced, meaning this may just be some ancient anecdote thrown around in an attempt to get some kind "gotcha" out of the people leaving. Still, can only wait and see how this pans out exactly; otherwise, I imagine many artists may settle for Misskey instead.

I do draw stuff, but we're talking 500 followers on X, and I'm not catering to a specific demographic. Is there a way to see if you've been added to any of these packs, like you can twitter lists?

Which I also find hilarious when some people I know who primarily draw nsfw are going to be in for a rude awakening, since bsky already was known for this in its earlier months after allowing people to register freely.

It does remind me that I ought to make Carrd page sometime just to point to the places I have art accounts at. More and more artists I know are cross-posting between locations due to the user fragmentation happening in recent years between Mastodon instance crap, policy rule changes, and AI-shit (allowing it to be posted, or retroactively taking your shit to build models from).

I did get a chuckle when a first signed up for bluesky in Feb, said I didn't want loli shit in my feeds, and immediately found myself blocked by a bunch of randos and put on a couple prude lists. Reality is some likely thought it was suddenly going to be a haven for pedo trash and ultimately got the FAFO treatment. That said, they are using a certain degree of AI to auto-flag things even if posters don't. I can venture a guess exactly what a bot saw in that linked pic even a human wouldn't, and sure enough, it did get overturned. The stuff is unfortunately gonna have hiccups.

Now, some of the things I did see before some of those systems were up was pretty cringe. A combination of mutes and blocks has helped, but I've generally just found blurring potentially nsfw stuff to be the best course of action. If an artist can't reasonably tag/caption and I don't know them, odds are I'm not gonna click. Sorry, @monstercockfutaluvr, you're not my kink much in the same way as I don't want to see right-wingers verbally fellating Trump.

I saw today that they got 1.2 million new users out of the updated Twitter block rules. Also Jack Dorsey left the platform because he hates that it has robust blocking and moderation, apparently he thought Bluesky would be a haven for libertarian tech bros.

Only reason I'm not deleting the account is so I can keep an eye on a few people until they jump over too.
A bunch of holdouts just jumped ship with this wave.

Something to keep note of if you go as far as me.
The archive twitter gives you has all your text and stuff, but for further detail, has a link back to the original tweet. If the original is gone, the link doesn't work.

So if your tweet is a reply to someone, you won't have a way to get to their original post you replied to.
