If only there existed some standarized network file sharing protocol that all of these platforms could use to let you transfer photos/videos to your phone/PC to then use wherever you please.

You can transfer screenshots/videos to PC via usb cable on switch also. It's not super convenient but it beats taking out the SD card every time and you don't have to save or transfer screen shots to SD either.
