I know they're going to appeal this but if that fails then what's the ramification? break up into multiple entities? like a seperate company for Google Search Engine, Gmail and all of that or what?

Breakup feels unlikely to me because it doesn't remedy the problem as far as I see. Probably they pay a fine, have to stop paying Apple/Samsung for exclusivity, and get some of their internal decisions audited by some underpaid saps from the federal government.
