Miami is screwed through good drafting. Not only do they have to sign Tua, they have three defensive players on rookie contracts that are going to demand top 10 money. Christian Wilkins, Jevon Holland, and Jaelan Phillips. Phillips may come with an injury discount.
The Tua contract is going to be interesting. I think Tua knows this is probably the best place for him. But he also deserves to get every bit the payday that Murray, Jackson, Hurts, and Herbert received. I'm gonna guess he will see around 50m/y for 5 years. That's pretty much the 'new' top 10 number.
Or George Pickens.
Niners are going to be in that same boat. CMCs contract expires after this year, Aiyuk will come due in 2025, though we can always tag him if need be. Trent may retire after this season as well.
Aiyuk will push for a new contract this off-season, if he is smart.
Unless something has changed Niners have like 20 or 30 mil on cap space this season to roll over to next year.
Won't they try to sign Brock early though?
They can't even offer him a new contract until after next season.
Saw this post on Reddit and thought it was interesting enough to share here.

alternate universe burrow stays as a buckeye
Vrabel put a handful of vets on IR this week that weren’t close to needing to go on it. I’d say bet the absolute shit out of Seattle, but every time it should be that clear he goes out and beats some fake team.
Zack Martin and Tyron Smith may be out for Dallas. Terrence Steele has been a huge disappointment for them too if he has to slot in. Could be another situation where neither team has an o-line to trot out against 2 of the best high pressure defenses.
Tyron Smith - probably the highest paid free agent of 2024 that will not play a lot of games in 2024
Just get me a Baltimore and Miami loss this weekend and I'm good.
tyron will either play for dallas again or retire. he's been on record multiple times that he will never play for anyone but jerry, and it's one of the rare times a player actually means it. he's never been about the money he just likes living in dallas. he's taken discounts his entire career, even when he negotiated his first contract back in 2014 and was the best tackle in the league he was cheap as fuck
Sounds like the Steelers might be looking to trade off Mike Tomlin’s ass
Edit: or they want to extend him, but other teams have been asking to trade for him? Steelers are wild if they don’t lol
half the league would take tomlin over what they currently got in a heart beat. the steelers have had shitty qb play for 5 years straight at this point and still come away with a .500 record. ask belichick how he's doing with shit qbs
Have you considered though
