This is pretty interesting because I’m seeing my Gen Z friends on socials really taking his death pretty hard. For a lot of young women he was one of their big teenage crushes. It’s like I’m witnessing their first big celebrity death.

Possibly. It sounds like he was drunk/high and was arguing with staff about getting to use the pool. Some are theorizing he tried to jump to the pool from his hotel room. So maybe overestimated due to intoxication.

So reportedly the hotel called for police & emergency services saying a hotel guest was being violent and erratic and trashing his room and they suspected he was under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. Pics from his hotel room show it totally trashed. So dude might have gotten ahold of some bad shit and jumped or maybe had a psychotic break or something. Guess we'll have to wait for the toxicology report for a clearer picture.
