I remember coming out of grad school in architecture and LOTS of firms were hiring people on salary at 1 dollar over the overtime threshold. Guess those scumbags are gonna have to raise those 1st year salary caps now!

Salary workers earning below that threshold are who this applies to, obviously hourly employees already qualify for OT.

I presume it is wages, not including benefits.

In 2022, wife and I went to food and wine fest with a couple friends from work and no kids. Wife was pregnant so could not drink. We all (except wife) blitzed the "drinking around the world" feat. One girl with us crushed it and did 2 drinks at each country. Anyway, after we finished that, we had an early dinner and we all (except wife) took edibles that I had snuck in. Then we rushed over to animal kingdom and hit Avatar and Escape Everest. After that, hit magic kingdom for fireworks. We closed out the night, higher than fuck, on The Haunted Mansion. Was one of the best nights of my life. Highly recommend.

Most alcohol I've done is about $150 at trader Sam's by myself, and one day I did the tequila tasting at Epcot, which also included two free margaritas, and followed that with the Mexican food booth for food and wine for tacos and another beer before hitting guardians of the galaxy

I got stuck on haunted mansion once in the ballroom scene. Tried taking a video but it was obvious after a few seconds the lighting made any video recorded on my phone garbage so I abandoned that idea and just kinda sat there and took it all in. It’s really even more impressive when you have a few minutes to digest it all versus the normal 15 seconds or so normally
