I don't see Lynch as a HOFer, at all. He had way too many seasons where he straight up sucked and I'm not talking about just his twilight years. He was never close to the best even in a single season. You have to compare him to guys like Tomlinson and Peterson. Those are the type of dudes the HOF should be for.

I like him too but he is *several* steps below actual HOF RBs. Hell, he will probably make it given how soft some voters are becoming outside of the Gates fiasco.

There was a massive amount of defensive brain farts this season. He generally did well in the super bowl especially given Greenlaw going down, but for the majority of the year the performance of the defense relative to the personnel they have was not up to snuff.

Supposedly Shananan had to put a lot more work into the defense this year and as we saw on Sunday, at times he had to override whatever play call Wilks had made cause it was clearly not going to work.
