There's a lot of minor things they could tweak that would make some of its issues stand out less that aren't related to the graphics engine at least. I'm talking things such as making NPCs not always move in a conga line, fixing the busted difficulty scaling, actual hit reactions vs. everyone just flinching, and perhaps adding a few more voice actors to the generics so you're not hearing the same three voices repeatedly for 80hrs. Much as I'd have liked a completely seamless take on the game, but that would require a flat out remake to do. But hey, maybe they can make this version preload nearby areas or something so it can do quick fade outs vs. hitting up a load screen.

I personally don't care if they fix a lot of the NPC jank people meme on the game about years after the fact due to compilation videos, since I barely heard anyone talk about those issues in the day outside of some stilted conversations.

They have to go beyond higher resolution and slightly better textures, aka the vanilla remaster. I hope they won't fuck it up like GTA.

Holy fuck the temporal artifacts are complete ass in their gameplay preview. It's fucking everywhere on every weapon swing involving something with a contrasting edge.
