I don't see it getting fixed like Cyberpunk though
Sounds like Microsoft offed many(most?) of their gaming staff.
If by most you mean like... less than 10% of the total Xbox workforce than sure
The studios that got hit the hardest are the ones that seemed to be failing in actually delivering a finished product.
New Katamari this October. About god damn fucking time, since the last new entry was on Vita back in 2011. This is a series that I'll never tire of the "more of the same" sequel approach.

69 new Cousins, how nice
Don't want to make a thread til there's more info, but it's about time.
FUCK YEAH
Don't want to get my hopes up too much but the teaser suggests co-op finally, and the steam listing has the online co-op tag, so I'm optimistic
Edit: thanks Polygon https://www.polygon.com/darksiders-4...ement-trailer/
Darksiders 4 will feature a familiar combination of third-person action and exploration, traversal, and puzzle-solving in what THQ Nordic describes as a "lore-rich post-apocalyptic world." All four of the Horseman — War, Death, Fury, and Strife — are playable in Darksiders 4, either in single-player or cooperative play.
The new Darksiders will be the first mainline entry in the franchise since 2018's Darksiders 3, which starred Fury and borrowed gameplay elements from the Metroidvania and Soulslike genres. Developer Gunfire Games has been pretty busy with the Remnant series since then, but they're back on board.
I enjoyed 1 and 2. Couldn't get into 3. Didn't play Genesis (how was that by the way)?
Hopeful for 4.
Always wanted to play this, really happy a translation is finally complete

Sounds like Electronic Arts is being sold to an equity firm that owned by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jared Kushner, gross.
E A SPORTS! IT’S A SHAME!
Nah but really though that’s probably the end of Mass Effect and definitely the end of Dragon Age (if it wasn’t already after Veilguard), rip
Is that pretty much all of the biggest American/European AAA publishers that have now been sold to another entity in the last few years? MS got ActiBlizz, Ubi's playing hooky with Tencent, and now EA is hanging out with Arabians.
Only other one I can think of is Take-Two, but their output has been dreadfully slow in recent years as well despite owning 2K Games. Probably banking on GTA6 keeping them trucking along.
Well, I guess there's MS's own stuff too that isn't from studios they mass-bought during their Xbox One splurge.
Sign of the current times and budgeting, or lack there-of? Companies becoming too large to handle that don't want to trim the fat to the bare necessities.
