Damn, that sucks. I played nearly every one of their game, VR included. The Order aside (which is more interested in interrupting you with constant cutscenes), their releases have been absolutely solid. Echo Arena (a unique experience I've yet to see in another game) getting shut down last year was probably a decent sign that they lost their key programmers though if they were unable to maintain it.

Yah I'm not holding my breath, but if it does happen... I'm hoping it at least has VR support TBH. I know its not everythings thing but Alyx was a superb VR game, easily still one of the best on the market.

and those HL2 VR mods? Insanely good, really made me realize just how well those games have aged today... like they're still timeless classics. I played through all 3 HL2 games with the VR mod and it was, in my opinion, the best way to play those games now. I mean it has full physics interactions and everything. Every gun has a manual reload, its not some cheap AAA port like FO4 was, and this was all a MOD you can just download on Steam right now with no extra steps other than having the original games.

Krafton, the publisher behind PUBG: Battlegrounds and The Callisto Protocol, has acquired Tango Gameworks, the studio responsible for The Evil Within games and Hi-Fi Rush. Tango was shuttered by Microsoft and ZeniMax Media in May, but the talent who formed the Tokyo-based studio will be integrated into Krafton, which now owns the rights to Hi-Fi Rush.

In a news release, Krafton said it “intends to collaborate with Xbox and ZeniMax to ensure a smooth transition and maintain continuity at Tango Gameworks, allowing the talented team to continue developing the Hi-Fi Rush IP and explore future projects.” Krafton added that it “intends to support the Tango Gameworks team to continue its commitment to innovation and delivering fresh and exciting experiences for fans.”
