It's on Martinez. He allegedly got fertility treatments in DR without talking to the team according to the MLBPA release.

He popped for Clomid, which is essentially a steroid and commonly used to counteract the side effects of anabolic steroids. If he's not lying then I do feel a bit bad for him and his partner, but I just find the odds of that to be slim based on what he tested positive for, on top of his age.

How the team didn't know he was allegedly on fertility drugs is a separate issue.

Ricky and Tony Gwynn are probably two of my all time favorite players. Gwynn having almost twice as many walks as strike outs over his career is just absolutely mind boggling, even back then.
