I fell off maybe 4 times and only 1 of them was from high up. I can imagine it being super frustrating though if you keep falling from up high. I tried to go real slow

I rushed and was maybe decidedly drunk.
Ooh i would never fuck with these beach drunk lol
I don’t usually have sweaty palms during vidya or even landing a jet in crosswind but that tower, especially towards the top gave me one lol. They also designed the sense of height very well it was chilling to look all the way down.
Its not that bad though, for some reason the very first challenge gave me a harder time (logs felt…slippery? Idk) go slow, take a break if you feel you are getting impatient.
the hidden mega boss can eat a bag of dicks, what on earth is that shit
I was a little lucky on volleyball(and tbh it was fun). All of a sudden guy decided to throw em all from a single side and made things much easier for me, all I had to do was to match the rhythm.
I also play Virtua Tennis every now and then so that gave me an advantage![]()
I found the targeting of my attack to be a little wonky. Sometimes I was sure I got it and would completely whiff
Yeah, I was like "ummm... this is a no for me dawg"
how the fuck are you supposed to dodge those attacks LOL
Beat it and final thoughts:
Spoiler: show
I am at the beginning of what i assume is the final Act 2 dungeon. And work has been busy as fuck today and I gotta travel Tues/Weds. I need time to play this FML![]()
I'm glad it's not just me in the hidden mega boss. They're such an astronomical step up in difficulty over the entire rest of the game.
Spoiler: show
Does the Monoco can learn this skill sign appear on enemy's healthbar even when Monoco isn't in the party?
No he has to be in the party for the icon to show up
Speaking of, my late game party build basically just ended up being almost totally Monoco focused. He was generally the fastest party member so he'd always act first. Lampmaster Light x 2 (it basically doubles in damage every time you cast it).
Maelle next, applies Defenseless (Offensive Switch if one enemy, Fencer's Flurry if a group), then Phantom Strike to build more gradient charge.
Sciel buffs everyone with Grim Harvest (luminas applied to make it apply Rush/Shell/Powerful and give AP) then use Intervention to let Monoco go again.
Level 1 Gradient skill to go into Ultimate Mask if he didn't end up there naturally, otherwise just keep spamming Lampmaster Light.
Rinse and repeat, mix in Maelle's level 3 gradient attack to one shot anything not dying from Monoco's spam
Baw, gonna make me paranoid and always keep him in lol
Endless tower has every enemy in the game except for Contortioniste, so yiou can readily learn them all there, and there’s an easy access Contortioniste in Path of Joy in Visages, also I just mass abused Stendhal for all the optional bosses, none of them survived a hit for over 100 million damage lol
Gradient Counter question. Theres some gradient attacks that have a long ass delay and animation before they actually hit. Am I supposed to counter when the screen turns grey or right before the attack lands?
the window is far larger than a regulah parry and at least initially hitting it during the color change will be enough every time. but as the game goes on enemies get trickier with delays and you want to aim much closer to the strike landing, like a regular parry. it's still easy as the window is so large but the game does switch up the timing p good on ya.
Thanks.
Finished Act 2. Mind blown wtf.
Also I think I know what choice Krandor may be talking about now
Spoiler: show
Real mad I won't get to play this for the next couple of days
If you want the ending right now and you want act 3 story to be difficult, it's probably best to do that immediately after act 2. Doing much of any of the endgame content will trivialize the final story dungeon lol but yeah, you can head right to the final dungeon and end the story as soon as act 3 starts if time allows for ya
