How I figured out the thing with Gustav before ever playing

Right after the game came out and it was receiving so much praise, I read an interview with Charlie Cox where he talked about how pleasantly surprised he was to hear about how well it was doing because he said he honestly didn’t remember much from working on the game, saying he read all of his lines in about 4 hours almost five years ago. I immediately was like wow the game must be really short or…oooooooooh.

Yeah, I tried him a handful of times the “legit” way and got tired of having to keep redoing the first two phases just to get smoked in phase 3 so I looked up the cheese method lol

So pretty much from the point in act 2 when Maelle gives Verso the Expedition 33 arm band, I had him wearing that for the aesthetic team synergy. But after playing thru to the end and seeing how many times Verso straight up lies to the group and manipulates them and betrays them I’ve decided he is not allowed to wear that arm band ever again. I might even make him bald as punishment, since he talked about how self conscious he was about his hair.

The first time he does that move at 20% or so is soul crushing. Fantastic fight though, I had a blast getting through that one. Never did the one shot cheese but I most certainly went in way underleveled initially and had to go finish some other areas first.
