yeah that little surprise at the end almost got me, was lucky that all my characters were built and I was able to limp across the end with my final two

I have recovered from EMOTIONAL DAMAGE and we continue.
Then I've been dealing with weird random crashing. Fiddled with some Direct X settings, as I'll not have my experience be anything less than perfect.
Did kill the flying snake last night, even though I could never parry his explosion, except once.
I may need to recoat some people as well as lune and verso's damage is really damn low for some reason.

I never could figure out verso well, but Lune should be one of your highest damage dealers. Focus on trying to find ways to pop her 'ultimate' move that requires one of each color. There's a rotation you can do that let's her apply buffs/debuffs while setting up the ult, then she wrecks after.
I haven't played in over a month though or I'd just tell you the combo, but that's basically what you are shooting for.
Maelle > Verso >>>> Others for dmg. From what I remember Lune takes longer to setup for big dmg.
Verso needs specific weapons to really shine.
Maelle/Monoco/Sciel are all better damage dealers than Lune by the end of the game by a country mile. Verso can do more damage than Monoco/Sciel but has way less utility
Now I'm curious as I never used Monoco or Sciel but Maelle + Lune did comparable damage to each other and I was absolutely blasting stuff by endgame fights.
I'm wondering if it's likely that they can all be allstars and we are just building them different, or was this something you all have looked up and compared what the max potential is?
Lune is the weakest character in the party at the endgame, but it also just kinda doesn't matter since most of the power scaling comes from Pictos/Lumina so everyone can work just fine.
Maelle wants Sciel in the party to properly buff her for her insane damage output so if you just straight up never used them it makes sense why you would think they're on a comparable level.
Yeah I basically do this with every turn based game. I pick my main team early on and don't stray. I'm glad she was on my main team though asSpoiler: show
That being said, if Lune is blasting this hard, I'm scared to see what the others pump out.
For this one I gave them all equal lumina and liked switching things around since there were only 2 extra characters.
playing through ng+ i can confirm lune’s damage falls off pretty bad, even if you have max crit so you can spam the element wheel ability into genesis
depending on how you feel it’s verso/maelle/sciel or monoco/maelle/sciel, with sciel there just to buff
using verso with the fire buff weapon and slamming as much burn as possible is fun
Been using Monaco as damage/debuff/buffer depending on the mask and pumping out solid numbers.
Maielle though has been god tier on damage, especially buffed and virtuoso stance for stedenhall

You can get to Lune’s ceiling very early on, maxing out her crit within the first couple of hours is simple enough and her ulti wrecks early fights. setting her up for a rotation where she is doing her ult pretty much every turn is not too tough either, but yeah, once you get through act 2, her damage falls way off.
Ok, finally sat down and spent some time with this and beat the first boss, plus that giant lance guy guarding a spot in the first zone.
Ah, another into the breach for EMOTIONAL DAMAGE: The Game
fuckin french people
don't even act like mimecore wouldn't go hard up in the club
