Okay, just built my Maelle and jesus christ. She's a beast. I got her at 87% crit rate with picto's/stats. With the burning weapon she applies burn on shots and that brings me to 100% crit with the lumina. I have her with the inverted lumina so first 3 turns she does 50% more damage. Still in chapter 2 so damage cap is 9999 but Sword Ballet is doing damage cap over the 5 hits lol

*Edit* Also, I think First strike is bugged. It seems to pick and choose when the character actually goes first unless I'm missing something

I know they said Expedition volunteers were low in numbers in recent years but I am starting to think the original expeditions were all massive. Theres so many dead Expeditioners everywhere and Forgotten Battlefield has a fuckton of them. Like thousands of bodies. Not to mention all the ships.

My tank/might build of Verso literally soloed the Burgeon without any last stand Lumina's, it was an extremely fun battle as well. I'm loving this guy already.

PS I am glad the game autosaves frequently, 2 times already I am stuck in the overworld, forcing me to reload.

also the final Renoir fight music went so fuckin hard man i started headbanging, got out of my chair, had to take a lap around my room

i had to respec Lune into a healer for the first time for this fight, went on too long and parries were brutal. 9999 damage cap really limits how much burst you can get off in Act 2.

Broke the 2 million damage barrier with the final member's Sakapatate Fire skill. Just got one of the materials for the final weapon upgrade which will give most characters weapons another like 4000 attack, so 3-4 million damage in a round is definitely possible

Recovery pictos seems OP given that I'm near the beginning of Act 2 lol

It's all relative. The pictos/lumina you get later in the game are super OP (like Cheater which lets you take 2 turns in a row every time) but you need it.

Holy titty fucking Christ is the boss of Flying Manor insane. Took quite a few tries but that's one of the most satisfying boss fights I've ever seen in an RPG
