i disagree with your first point because of the second point. you don't need huge savings to invest effectively and simply over the long term. if you're "investing" in shitcoins, it's because you're a fucking retard like people who play the lottery.

i work in an industry that is entirely geared (though slightly less so these days) towards passive investing and boy howdy is it hilarious to get on the phone with a CIO or RIA and have them tell me about a mutual fund that "did well last year".

Honeywell was and is shit. Fuck em. They don't know how to pay or even value engineers of any type. I worked for them for a whole of 4 months before hopping onto a smaller contractor that paid me double what they had offered me because the smaller contracted weighted my expertise and how well I was known around base for what I was doing. Honeywell just ran their calculator against "years worked" lol.
