Walmart and Pepsi have been engaging in a price-fixing scheme where Pepsi has promised Walmart that they will always get the lowest price on their products.

This explains a lot. I noticed a long time ago they sell larger packs of can soda for real cheap.

I'm just gonna say that I work with a lot of advertising in my job and Q1 is typically when many, many businesses slash their budgets anyway but now Q1 earnings reports are dropping and people are PANICKING, I haven't seen this much "holy shit pull all the spending" since COVID.

She kinda buried the lead, which is that the total jobs added in 2025 was revised down from 584k to 181k.

Also based on revision trends from 2025 these numbers are useless and going to be heavily revised anyway.

Article says Domino's is growing but Domino's is so much worse than Pizza Hut imo. It really has to come down to the price. People either go all in on cheap with Domino's or they go get actual good pizza.
