I felt compelled so I actually went and got a whopper tonight. I hadn't been to BK locally in years.

Actually excellent. It is noticeably better imo. Probably the best meal I've had from there in a long time.

I've noticed the quality of BK hinges on how ghetto the area is.

I live in middle class suburbia and the one here is meh at best.

Few months ago I had to spend a couple weeks working out at social services (also has a plasma donation center there so you know the type of area it is) and the BK there was God tier by comparison

Also fyi, you can request one, "off the broiler". It means they will send a raw patty through the conveyor oven and cook it when you order. It might take a little longer if they are busy but it's worth it. Best to eat it there when you do that so it's still hot.

People would do that all the time, especially with fries and their old tenders back when I was a shift supervisor over 20 years ago
