    Most ELCs are 3 years and you can't extend until you're on day 1 of the final year of the contract.

    Burned the first year of it in 22/23 playing 2 reg season games and 6 playoff games. Happens a bunch with players coming out of collegiate ranks. I know normally it's 10 games is the qualifier, but if they sign after their NCAA season is done it eats that first year regardless.
