They were in town together for their sister's wedding this weekend, absolutely tragic

One of the most tragic NHL deaths/accidents in recent memory, particularly for one in the midst of a very good career; worse than Konstantinov/limo crash, but closest I can recall. Absolutely fuck that guy. Drunk driving, passing on right via shoulder, and showed zero remorse in his initial hearing with judge (basically whined that judge made him stay in jail a week).

It doesn't, and no athlete getting sound financial advice would want it to. He'd be losing tens of millions in compound interest over the course of his deal. That deal the Canes signed is moronic from the player's perspective.
