That's to make up for the fact there's a tennis tournament every year at the SAP center that runs for like 3 weeks, so it's pretty much all road games for a month.

Actually that looks like it was abolished. Seems like they still had the monthly road trip due to shit going on at SAP up through covid.

Also a coincidental that the two away games in the 30 day span are b2b @ LAK and ANA then back home for another 3.

Because they bought Monday night regional rights from Rogers. It's a Canadian broadcast.

They basically want it to be like Hockey Night in Canada or Wednesday Night Hockey. They're essentially paying Rogers to produce the entire thing and just air it on Amazon Prime instead of on Sportsnet.

I wonder how much that deal was for, since Rogers is bleeding money from their $5.2B 12 year deal. Mind you, more people turned into sailing the seas for watching games vs paying for a service to find out you were blacked out anyway
