Genshin Impact - Capitano Waiting Room

Finished up all of the available Natlan quests, then did the final Archon chapter. I'd put it as probably third best nation story atm; lots of lore but not as interesting as Sumeria or Fontaine.

Did my pulls for Mauvika and Citlali, as well as Mauvika's weapon, and I won big time:

• Mauvika in 50 pulls
• Citlali in 70 pulls
• Mauvika weapon in 40 pulls

C4 Kachina, and picked up Ororon and fuckin Kaveh on the weapon banner, so, ya, quitting while ahead and looking forward to rolling for Chlorinde and all her 4* banner glory.

I'm not done all the tribe quests, but in terms of just Archon quests I'd put Natlan second behind only Fontaine. I was not a fan of Sumeru at all for how convoluted it was. Fontaine was also convoluted but was told in a better way IMO. Natlan's story is pretty straightforward and it also gives us a big chunk of interesting lore.

The only thing I didn't like is

Too many people in Fontaine had silly hats.

Sumeru had the Archon of dook dook.

Hence Sumeru is superior.

..Alright, joking aside.

I’m in agreement with you that Natlan’s second for me, though for me it goes Sumeru -> Natlan -> Fontaine. I didn’t -dislike- Fontaine, but it was very hit or miss for me personally.

Natlan does the whole war thing better than Inazuma, which just felt random. And the emotional impact of loss hit harder than ol’ Teppei.

Definitely not bitter that it took 81 (Mona) + 79 (Mavuika) + 78 (Citlali) just to get the 2 featured characters.

5.4 is looking to be Mizuki + Wrio in the first half and Sigewinne + Furina (again) in the 2nd half. Hoping rng is nice to me on my last 2 Furina cons.

Obviously after waiting 2 years for Shenhe constellations and 9 months for Wrio constellations, they're going to run them both back-to-back after the Pyro Archon and her best support completely empty me out.

so I know it's older and may just not have some of the QoL features that HSR does, but is there no stamina overflow/reserve system? like in HSR you can essentially bank some if you're at cap to refill later but in Genshin all I'm seeing is the fragile resins or paying primos

There's no overflow, no. You can convert resin into condensed resin (max of 5) at the Alchemy table to save for another day if you want, but there's no automatic overflow (currently, anyway).

There’s a lot of QoL missing from Genshin that other Mihoyo games have. It kinda makes me think Mihoyo hates Genshin, with how much they gotta deal with their stupid ass community wanting their “accurate cultural needs” catered to them, i wouldn’t blame them.

I guess i’m spoiled with Zenless and how insanely good the game is with the way the game is handled and their presentation is like jumping a whole graphical generation.

I love genshin still, i play it the most cuz i love the freedom of team building and experimenting, just wish they gave it the same love they gave to Zenless, because Ananta is looking mighty.

ok another dumb question but what exactly is the point of co-op? only tried it the one time with my friend who was also new to the game, but it didn't seem like there was much benefit to doing it, only the host seemed to get anything, and so on

You can yoink world materials from other people's worlds, that's really about it.

and power-level one character's friendship since it gives a 4x friendship when you fully co-op a dungeon. There are also achievements for killing some bosses in co-op as well. Some events also have co-op mode that makes them easier as well or are light PvP events like hide and seek and such. Oh, and extra fishing from their pools.

But mostly, yoink materials from other peoples worlds.

There's also that one chest on an island east(?) of Mondstadt that you need to be in co-op to make spawn. You need 2 people to stand inside the heart made of rocks.

co-op can be good for world bosses, they tend to be a bit easier with four people. unless you get shitty party members but that's honestly not too common

I mostly do co-op for the friendship. Sometimes I'll do it because I'm lazy and don't want to do rotations. On my f2p alt, I'll do it because it's faster to get carried (mainly for weekly boss fights). Sometimes you get fun interactions from it as well. One of my favorites was when people were fighting over who would be Barbara. lol

Otherwise, co-op is mainly for if you need materials or need help with something (achievements, boss/material farming).
