Dehya's constellations are very strong and go a long way toward making her better. I picked up C5 Dehya from the selector

Also managed to get C8 Diluc and C6 Kachina on the way to Mualani. Like leave me alone Mr. Dark Knight I'm over it lol

Enjoying Natlan a lot more than Fontaine so far. They are definitely using exploration to get you to roll for characters but at the same time the Saurians allow you to have fun with the new mechanics if you don't pull, it's a pretty fair setup and I appreciate that.

I'll likely pick up Dehya C1 as I have the Con 3 of most starters and I don't really use Wing DPS characters, so Jean's C4 won't help there.

Also, Xilonen has a Nahida-like C2 that gives a huge boost to each element in specific ways, like +40% Fire attack and such.

If I'm lucky with the first copy and her weapon, I might go for it. It'll also depend a bit on Chasca leaks because if she can actually fly that's going to be pretty tempting as well. I currently have ~550 wishes between primos, Fates, and Starglitter. I'm also definitely getting Mavuika, but I don't really want to top up if I don't have to.

Which is all to say I think my dreams of getting Shenhe constellations are well and truly fubar'd, lol.

Edit: Also, Hoyo really just hates the Physical element huh, lol.

It just doesn't react like everything else; Only shatter and that's very weak. They would have to start adding physical defense shred into the game.

Loving the new world level increase. Drops feel much better now.

Also really enjoying Mualani. She's a lot more fun to play than I expected after how much I didn't enjoy Kachina's trial. Her damage is also a lot better than I expected with just filler artifacts and only level 80. I look forward to getting her fully built.

Currently nothing too special yet. Just using Arlecchino, Zhongli, Mualani & Emilie for exploring I frequently get Vape hits over 100k with her.

Burning does seem to work well for her, it's pretty good for maintaining pyro aura

also the absolute drip on Xilonen's weapon. this is next-level

They went full out with the styling for Natlan, I kinda felt it was pretty jarring at first but I got used to it and now actually enjoy the whole vibe

I just started playing when the recent Alhaitham banner was out. I wanted to save up for Xilonen but i’m trying to get Kazuha now.

Now there’s a leak that Xilonen and Nahida are going to be in the banners, i’m pretty much fucked cuz my gf swears that Nahida is the best of the best and she’s gonna suggest me pulling for her. D:

I'd say the three strongest characters in the game currently are Kazuha, Nahida, and Neuvillette. Depending on how badly they nerf Xilonen through her beta period, she might push her way into that tier with those three. It's probably worth pulling for Kazuha now though because I'm sure Xilonen will get a rerun some time before 6.0, but we have no idea when Kazuha (or Nahida for that matter) will be rerun next.

I personally love Alhaitham, but Nahida is definitely the best overall Dendro character in the game, by a wide margin. The amount of Dendro her skill applies enables so many Dendro-related teams, and that's not even considering how much damage her Tri-karma procs do on their own.

Yeah i currently prioritized building Navia because she’s a bit special for me (gf cosplayed as her), sadly i never got her weapon but am using Diluc’s weapon on her for the time being. I’m still going for Kazuha but am likely going all in on Nahida.

If you have the battle pass, I believe Serpent's Spine is also quite good for Navia, unless that's what you meant by Diluc's weapon haha. That craftable Natlan claymore should also be pretty good for her I think.

The reliable banner leaks for 5.1 are out. Xilonen + Chiori and then Nahida + Hu Tao.

RIP the people hoping Hu Tao would be on the next Chronicled Wish banner (if they even do it again, which I doubt). It's a great first half weapon banner with Xilonen and Chiori's swords on it though.

Also if Shenhe doesn't get a rerun in 5.1 I believe she'll pass Eula for longest period of time without a rerun. The last time she got a rerun was literally 2 HoyoVerse games ago. And Wriothesley is also locked in the Cryo basement it seems, Chiori was released 4 patches after him but is getting her first rerun before he does, lol. Justice for Cryo! Still so bizarre to me they gave Ganyu and Shenhe paid skins for Lantern Rite this year and they haven't rerun either of them before or since.

Finished up just about everything but the Local Legends, because screw those things. lol Definitely need to work on my teams more. Ran into the Fatui trio without realizing they were bosses at first, comedy ensued. Picked up Jean with my free selector. Now it's time to start getting back into levelling up some of my characters and hope I can clear the theater this time.

Overall I enjoyed this update. Exploration was mostly fun, when doing it the way the game intended. But the second I had to backtrack 3 miles to get up a cliff, or there wasn't a dino near where I was, the wheels kinda fell off a bit. It could use a bit of refinement, with a few more grapple points around the map.
