There is a hidden 6th character in the silhouettes but I doubt it's Alice, I expect she's going to be a 7.X character.

Neuv's skin is really dope. I will probably buy it even though I have no idea when I'm actually going to be able to get him because it definitely won't be this patch, lol.

Was extremely lucky and able to upgrade my Veresa with 2 constellations and weapon, and holy cow, the damage output is insane.

Congrats! Are you going to eventually go for C6?

Based on leaks and known (?) info, it's looking like these are the teased characters. Grain of salt, etc.

OK, first you need to know that Childe's actual real name is Ajax. Tartaglia is merely is codename like Arlecchino, who is actually named Peruere. His father named Childe after a popular Snezhnayan folkhero with the same name. We do not know much about him, but some stuff like Childe's backstory in his profile, weapon lore and so on give us some info. This includes the weapon lore of "Ballad of the Fjords" that reveals he had a lover which is called Snegurochka. This name is russian and translates to "Snow Maiden". As I understand it, she might be a fae like Flins.

In the Nod-Krai trailer "Prelude to Moonlight" you can see a girl in what a snowstorm at 0:45. People believe that this is supposed to be this snow maiden.

7.x has also been confirmed by Dawei to be Snezhnaya.

I'm a little disappointed Alice isn't being released (yet), but it'll give me more time to save while picking up a few characters along the way (Columbina, Nicole, Sandrone are my current plan). Varka and Zibai look cool, but I don't want them as much as the others.

I believe the rumour about the new Standard 5* (Lohen) was that he was going to be a Cryo DPS as well, so do with that information what you will. If he is a standard, he should be available from the anniversary selector like Mizuki was.

I am in a bit of a pickle I think. I won my 50/50 and got Columbina, but I lost on the weapon banner to Ineffa's weapon. My original plan was if I lost to a standard weapon I would just save the weapon guarantee for some later weapon banner since Columbina's 4* weapon options are pretty good between Proto Amber and Fav, and if I won Columbina's weapon than great. I was originally really keen on trying to get Zibai in the second half of this patch, but now that I have Ineffa's weapon lying around I am tempted to change course and try to get Ineffa instead. I have decent Electro coverage (Varesa, Clorinde) but poor Electrocharge coverage and also basically no Geo coverage. I also have no real raw Anemo coverage but unless Varka's animations absolutely blow me away I feel like I am kinda resolved to skipping him right now.

So I either go for Ineffa to make a nice wheelchair core with Columbina (and my Nefer+Lauma team can work without Columbina in case I need two Lunar teams), or I go for Zibai not knowing if I have a decent weapon for her (I do have a Chiori weapon laying around...). The other thing I'm considering is the likelihood of Sandrone coming and whether or not she'll be Geo, because I think I would really only want one of Zibai or Sandrone, and if I want Sandrone then I can try for Ineffa now.

Decisions, decisions.

Edit: There is also the very funny potential of using Ineffa's weapon on Zhongli potentially in a Zibai team.

Congrats on winning the 50/50!

In regards to Ineffa, I guess it comes down to how much you need her when it comes to clearing content since it sounds like you're considering her for her functionality in teams over just liking her design. If you're already clearing content without any problems, I would say go after a character that excites you more since you've made it this far without her.

6.4 - Varka - He's on the beta server, so this is basically guaranteed.
6.5 - Linnea
6.6 - Nicole & Lohen
6.7 - Sandrone

Varka's signature weapon is a very good claymore, not just for him.

I lost the 50/50 to Jean (now C4) early on, then got Columbina Hyposelenia early on as well, so that was nice. Still have a bit over 100 wishes left. I'll probably toss some wishes at Zibai's banned in hopes of getting Illuga. Wouldn't hate getting Zibai, but she's not a priority.

Columbina + Ineffa wheelchair is fine if you just want Lunar coverage. Add Sucrose + flex and you're golden. There's no need for Geo at all right now and hasn't been relevant since Itto in Inazuma, and a very brief moment for Navia.

I'll get Columbina and Ineffa after I've finished the story; not sure I'll get either of their weapons though Ineffa's would be nice.

Good call starting a fresh thread, the old one was definitely bursting at the seams. That little scene with Mavuika is great world-building too, it really sells Xilonen’s personality as the kind of craftswoman who gets completely absorbed in her work. A Nanatzcayan smith with a Geo Vision feels like a perfect fit, especially with that “Ardent Flames Forge the Soul” title hinting at both literal forging and inner resolve. The Panthera Ocelota constellation is a nice touch as well, suggesting precision, independence, and a quiet intensity. Curious to see how her role in Natlan and her kit end up reflecting all that lore.

Picked up Columbina and Ineffa within about 200 pulls. I don't really have a good weapon for her but I threw an event HP weapon on her for now, though I have more than enough catalysts to make another PAmber. I think I might pull out Ningguang and put Xiolen in there and see how that goes; sort of an old school Zibai team though I don't think I'll pull her. If Sandrone ends up being Geo, then there we go.

Prototype Amber is one of her best weapons if you don't need to hoard the billets. That's what I'm using on her currently. I haven't delved much into Lunar Crystallize, just briefly using her with Navia for overworld stuff, but it does seem interesting.

For those who haven't done the new Archon Quest, it took me just under 6 hours with 2 small breaks during that time frame. For almost all of the time, you'll get the "if you leave, you'll have to redo parts, etc" pop-up, but I think you can safely leave after it auto-saves at various points (shows in bottom right). I didn't try it though. Mainly wanted to give people a heads up for the time requirement.

I'm using Ash-Graven Drinking Horn, so, just no energy regen or HP heal. My initial though was using Arle, Ineffa, Columbina, and Bennet, as I wouldn't want extra heal, nor really need the energy in that team, but I already have a great Arle team and I like to make different teams as much as possible. I really should pull a weapon on the banner....

Tomorrow is the first day to claim the next free constellation. Who did you pick first time and who are you planning to get this time?

I got Shenhe for the first (C1 now) and I'm probably going to get Nilou (currently C0) for the extended aura. I was going to get Klee's C1 because of the Hexenzirkel buffs, but I think Nilou would be more Bennett Fischl.

My first one was Yae C2. My current selection is Shenhe C1 but I'm still waffling between that, Ayaka C1 (to work toward C2), or Nilou C1. I'll probably stick with Shenhe's C1, and I'll probably not seriously invest into Nilou until I get another chance to go for her signature weapon. She's a nice option for Nefer/Lauma if Columbina is needed on another team but I don't really have that need right now.

What sword do people use on Nilou if they don't have the Key?

Checking KeqingMains, it looks like Dockhand's Assistant & Primordial Jade Cutter are probably the next best options because of the HP bonuses. After that it sounds like it doesn't matter too much.

I could probably just slap Fav on her for now I guess since her cores won't be detonating with Nefer on the team anyway.
