I ended up using my previous guarantee for Ineffa. I just lost my 50/50 early at 20ish pity to C2 Tighnari so now I'm real conflicted on whether to go for Zibai or just save my guarantee for Nicole or Sandrone or something. I really like Zibai's design but she's definitely more of a luxury for me than a necessity. And even though I can give her this Uraku I have lying around, I would want to go for her weapon and I'm gonna have to open my wallet up to get Zibai, never mind her weapon.

We'll see if I can hold out for leaks on who's coming after Varka and what their kits may look like. Hoping we get some of those details before the patch ends.

Zibai's trial didn't really excite me much. Her design is great though. Threw some wishes at the banner hoping for Illuga and got him in 11 pulls. Now I can wait for Nicole.

Nicole and Sandrone for sure. I still don't have a single C6 standard banner; I think the highest is C5 Qiqi now, from my last pulls. All of the originals are C4 now.

So I decided to finally check out arena mode. Never again with that cancer. Everything is infinite switch and swirl on either inactive or active; whichever needs it, oh, and then you heal. Even so, my basic but tuned bloom deck can win with no bs; it's just not fun.

I haven't paid much attention to the TCG in a long time since it became more complicated than I cared to deal with. I'm glad it's there for people that enjoy it though.

We've been blue balled about Varka for 6 years and he's just meh:

yeah, he looks fun but not at all meta. dehya 2.0 really (although he seems more viable than dehya)

His damage is fine (with his signature weapon), just not at the same level as Nefer or Flins. But Nefer and Flins both have their dedicated supports in Ineffa and Lauma, and Nicole is currently assumed to be Varka's. So he does have some room to grow. He looks really cool but I think I'm just more interested in some of the other characters on the horizon right now, although giving my Venti a purpose again would be neat.

I do think his damage ceiling should have been higher though. He's such a famous character, it's a shame people are going to skip him just because his damage may be underwhelming relative to his lore status (and his sick animations).

Then trailed her. Eh, just not a fan of Lunar charged stuff. I'm sure she's great from what I hear, and that Varka's so so, but I'm just gonna go for him instead.

Something just didn't click when I played her versus Flins (threw a few at him, but didn't get him).

Like some of Natlan took a bit to get the hang of for me but I eventually was ok with Mavuika and Citlali.

Lunar charged stuff just doesn't yet; maybe it will when I finally play Nord Krai more.

Geo columbina/innefa wheelchair is about as comfy and strong of a team you can get atm. Granted, I went for C2 Columbina, but I was 11 seconds from beating the dire version of that electric cat thing with Nadia, Columbina, Innefa, and Chiori. Zibai should crush it.

Dendro took me a bit but was fun once I started playing around and got certain party members.

She'd be a no brainer if not for Varka. I think the last non Archon I went big on was Citlali.

I'll probably save for Zibai on a rerun. Her banner now is too tempting to just throw 1 pull at since her supports seem to be on there.

If you're going for Varka I would heavily recommend also going for his weapon. It's a massive gap between his sig and any other claymore you could put on him or any other teammate you could give him.

With Zibai sounds like she's good with HoD or other f2p.

Zibai's weapon is not a huge upgrade over HoD.... I think like 118% with sig, 105%ish damage with HoD according to IWTL. so yeah she's very f2p friendly, especially if you have Gorou C6 already or Columbina C0. Illuga is not important unless you want to really push her; other supports are just fine

not only that but his weapon is just an incredible stat stick all-around. definitely something people may want to pick up. I have Beacon of the Reed Sea and I'm a bit tapped rn so... we'll see.

Nicole is a must-pull for me but I do think she will be underwhelming in non-Hexenzirkel teams. I don't personally care because she's elf mommy but she's probably going to be pretty skippable outside of Varka teams... I hope I'm wrong though
