The Hero of Cinder City artifact set just requires the holder to trigger a reaction with the element you're trying to give the buff to. There's nothing inherently part of her kit that requires you to crystalize though.

yeah to be clear the Xilonen dps build is just for fun, it can't compete with any of the real DPS characters

also I decided to go for Xilonen's weapon because fuck it. wasn't super lucky or anything but thankfully with the new banner you don't really have to be. Weapons are actually viable to chase now, at least as viable as a 5* character. I did get Chiori's weapon on the way but that is super solid for a number of characters (at least three I can think of off the top of my head) so I'm ok with that

Won the 50/50 three times for C2 Xiolen. Used about 30K total + 25ish fates to do it. Nothing good out of any of the other stuff pulled. Oh well, best support for the rest of the game get and still 33K gems to save for Firechon.

I take part of that back. I got two Sacrificial Fragments to finally R5 my first one. No Widsth actually obtained; it was a fragment. Still a win for Kokimi, finally.

the whole "abyssal invasion" section with the corruption meter, casualties, etc. feels so real and so urgent, which is rare in a gacha / live service game like this. I always forget that while 90% of the content in this game is filler, when it hits it hits hard.

Finally got around to doing Theater for this cycle. 8/10 stars because of Pneuma/Ousia bs. I hate that gravitational boss, but I'm hoping it's just because I was unprepared for it. Last boss was ezpz.

Doing theater makes me realize I need to work on building more supports. Most of my cast is generally DPS and that doesn't work out too well for team building. lol Was also a bit annoyed that Chevrolet kept getting "refunded/revived", but it actually worked out for the best.
