Dope. I haven't had a use for Gamestop in years. I've wanted to shop for Wii games for my nephew/niece at the one by me but they don't carry any. Maybe they'll get the swap over and new merch. Not that hunting down the mom n pop game shop is bad but their stock rarely changes.
There's one 12 miles away. Eh fuck it I'd check it out. Probably sucks though lol

Ultimately it will probably be overpriced and suck but damn it will be fun to go browse the retro store. I will likely stick to my ROMs and emulators. Though not all games are available as ROMs.
FunCoLand's hand bursting out of a grave somewhere
I remember the last time I went to a Gamestop on Pokemon sun moon launch day cause I decided to get it super last minute. I tell the guy at the counter I don't have a preorder and he looks at me like I just killed his son and just proceeds to be a giant douche checking me out.
12 year old me will take the blame for them going under. I remember getting a coupon in a magazine that gave me like an extra $4 trade in credit for every item, and I had tonnnnns of SNES-PS1 games I traded in. I remember some things having like a $0.25 trade in value. I walked out with a few PS2 games and enough credit to cover me for years.
