players on my team carrying an injury designation:

    aj brown (round 1)
    pacheco (round 2)
dk metcalf (round 3…he’ll be fine though, right?)
    keenan allen
    jake ferguson

the bg survival pool is already over

we all have basically the same fantasy team

pretty much all of our rl teams lost last week

    we are all screwed

    My first 4 picks were

    Brown
    Nacua
    Mahomes
    Walker III

Not a fun start to the fantasy season

5th pick was Swift, which uh, not great either.

(psst. two high safeties aren’t ruining the league. there’s just a lot of shitty qb play right now because there’s a lot of shitty qbs)

    Week 3 predictions:

Pats vs Jets: Thursday might be decent here. I think the Jets have a decent chance of winning and bringing the Pats to 1-2. I have Jets.

Eagles vs. Saints: Man if the Eagles can't use Hurts outside of runs and ass pushes the Saints could come away with another win here. Going with Eagles.

Packers vs. Titans: Jordan Love is hoping to be back and honestly I hope he is and stays healthy. I see them taking this one over the Titans.

NY vs. Browns: Danny didn't do DC but this week I think Danny done diving. This could be New York's week.

Texans vs. Vikings: This will probably be a great game, and with Darnold behind a good team I think this will come down to how Stroud and co. manage Vikings D. I'm going with an upset against the Texans with Vikings pulling out a close win.

Broncs vs. Bucs: Baker gon' bake bake bake bake bake

Bears v Colts: oh Lord I sure hope Williams's OL can get its shit together otherwise Colts could rock their first win

Chargers vs. Steelers: I think LA continues their streak and the Steelers finally see that it takes more than FGs to win a game.

Fins vs. Hawks: blah, with Tua out they're going to need Seattle to fall apart for this one. Or maybe Skyler becomes that guy. Seahawks take this one.

Panthers vs. Raiders: lol Panthers are going to continue to lose, especially against a rejuvenated Raiders team and Crosby.

49ers vs. Rams: 49ers should comfortably win.

Lions vs. Cards: Maybe if they get their play calling together the Lions win. Still going with Lions.

Ravens vs Boys: ah yes the battle of the playoff chokes... I think the Ravens are going to need to do better and depend less on Hero Ball Jackson to win against the Cowboys. I think the Cowboys defense holds up well as long as they spy Lamar, but their offense needs to hold it together too.

Jags vs. Bills: Bills got this.

Commies vs. Bengals: Burrow eeks out a W here. If the Bengals lose this game they better start thinking of their longer term plans.

Chiefs vs. Falcons: C'mon. Chiefs all the way. We'll probably play down to the Falcons and either win decisively or Mahomes will play subpar again and we lose because of interceptions or turnovers. I don't think Pacheco being absent hurts as much here.

    - Spend a decade devaluing the RB position.

nowadays the best offenses are running a shit ton of 13 & 22 personnel. tight ends and full backs are back in vogue... they don't give 'em the ball, but that's another conversation

Maybe we need an injuries pool. Are those even a thing? They have to be a thing.

we did the bad qb fantasy league years ago where you rooted for turnovers/sacks/pick-6es, would probably be a lot more interesting these days

Anyone who had the foresight to draft Caleb Williams in that league would be running away with it

mostly true but a lot of teams are putting tight ends in the slot/off the line anyway
