I told my wife (who is a commanders fan) that there was a near 100% certainty that only one of our quarterbacks (Daniels and Williams) was going to be good.

Looking back over the years it seems like first overall QBs used to be better, so was it the team drafting them or are they overrated? The last five years suggest a mixture of both.

My dude, its almost always the absolute worst teams in the worst situations drafting #1 overall.

If you do not have an offensive or defensive line in the NFL, you do not have a team.

If you do not have a competent offensive line in the NFL, it does not matter who your QB is 99% of the time (saving 1% for the Joe Burrow historic run with a historically bad O line).
