The Leafs have been better this season at beating the teams they should beat, but never underestimate their ability to lose to bad teams in the most embarrassing way possible.

They also play basically every other night from now until the middle of January, so they're going to end up tired at some point.

Surprised he actually wanted to come to Anaheim. Thought he had a no move. Urho can't seem to stay healthy. The Ducks backend just got more complicated. Fowler just came back from IR. Don't think we're done making trades.

He has a 10 (15?) team NTC. It's still odd he would agree to Anaheim though given most of his motivation for location is his wife's residency in New York at Vanderbilt. Detroit and Columbus would be a lot closer to her.

How high up the list was Anaheim for a waiver wire pickup? They probably told him if he didn't accept the trade to the Ducks, he'd be waived and they'll pick him up anyways, or an even worse team.

Aaron Ward is on twitter bitching about how threatening to waive Trouba to get around his NTC is tantamount to breach of contract while conveniently forgetting that not only do NMCs exist, Trouba literally had one that downgraded to his current NTC at some point during his contract.

If you don't want to be moved, take less money and get your NMC. That's how negotiations work.
