I've been impressed with how much the fresh prince has been improving over the season. We also seem to have our goalie of the future lined up. If we can have another solid draft, shore up the defense in free agency, I think we can start discussing playoffs in a year or two.

I don't know how a guy as tall as Hildeby can so consistently give up the worst goals through spots a tall guy should never be beat. He's like 6'7 but he plays like he's Darren Pang.

At this point there's really no convincing me he isn't doping. Putrid first half of the season last year, went to Dubai during the all-star break, has scored at career-best pace since then. We know PEDs are pervasive in Russian sports.

Has a chance to do it faster than Gretz, who never had to even deal with anyone looking at him with both eyes. Also in an era where the goalies aren't like "Why would I stop that puck, the mesh does a better job" with their 3.60 GAA of the 80's. At this point, I'm hoping he's like "Everyone knows I drink Coke in my water bottle, but since 2018 when we won the cup, it's been mixed with vodka, I'm hammered after the first period every game."

The Sens have been shut out in 5 of their last 11 games.

So expect them to hang 8 on the Leafs tomorrow night. Especially if Hildeby starts again.

Oh I think you're right, I missed that earlier. Murray's been the best goalie in the AHL over his last 15 games I think. Hildeby just isn't NHL-ready yet, it's better for him and the team to just keep him down on the Marlies as much as possible anyway.

Giving Murray the start against the Sens would be fun for storylines. That sets up Woll for the Wild and Oilers.
