Ok, so that quip about excessive Marvel phases and not keeping up with them wasn't really hyperbole and the last time I saw Banner - in Endgame - he was completely in control as the Hulk.

He had to wear the inhibitor to become Banner again, because his arm (injured from using the gauntlet) couldnt heal as the Hulk. He was Banner in Shang Chi and She Hulk. He was still able to control Hulk when he took the inhibitor off in She Hulk. The reason he couldnt in this movie, is because Jean fucked with his head.

don't get me wrong it's still an incredible achievement, the people yearn for Spidey, but it will always make me laugh no modern movie can touch Gone With the Wind's inflation adjusted true record simply because it played in theaters on rereleases for literally decades before watching it at home was even a possibility

but yrr things were quite different back then which is why no modern movie will ever sell as many tickets / be soon so often by such a large proportion of the populace
