    I missed something in the film, I think. I did have to go to the bathroom sometime around then, but the person I went with didn't know either.

    How did Jean Grey figure out who Spider-Man was? Was that ever revealed, or was it left nebulous? He was very cautious to not tell anyone who he was, and she couldn't jump into his head to find out like everyone else, beyond a brief shot of his bedroom with May.

    She had tracked him back to his apartment and found his note to MJ that revealed everything. She was revealing it to him over the phone and he pulled up his AI to see her in his place.

    Is there anything that needs my wife to have seen before watching this? She’s watched everything up to Endgame, she’ll know Yelina from Hawkeye but she hasn’t seen Thunderbolts. And she’s watched Spiderman 3.

    It’s revealed later on that Jean could just deactivate her possession entirely and just go back to jumping to those near her.

    Because plot needed to move forward. There isn't a good reason.

    she was in the black guy waiting next to the alley after Peter had his web grenade explosion. And then she magically went to the right apartment. Somehow. And you cant say she jumped into multiple people to see if they remembered running into Peter in the apartment building since its only been shown in the movie that she could only control one person at a time. The jumping into all the people lead to the hanging in the helicopter happened after she had fhe old man hit by the car. So from what they established as her powers she shouldnt have been able to find him or his apartment.


    Also doesnt make sense how Jean got to Peter before MJ since MJ was in her apartment alone.
